Payment not showing as received

Troubleshoot missing payment records.

Payment not showing?

Client says they paid but you don't see it? Let's troubleshoot.

For card payments

Check timing:

  • Payments show instantly but occasionally delay
  • Wait a few minutes and refresh

Check Stripe:

  • Log into Stripe dashboard
  • Look for the payment there
  • Check payment status

Client-side issues:

  • Ask client to check their bank statement
  • They may have started but not completed payment
  • Card may have been declined

For bank transfers

Check your bank:

  • Has the transfer actually arrived?
  • Check correct account

Mark it manually:

  • If money is in your bank
  • Go to client profile
  • Click "Record Payment"

Payment in wrong status?

If a payment shows but status is wrong:

  • Contact support
  • We can help correct records

Client dispute?

If a client claims they paid but there's no record anywhere:

  • Ask for proof of payment
  • Check date and amount
  • Verify recipient details were correct
