Why connect Stripe?
Stripe lets you accept card payments from clients. When a client pays through their portal, the money goes directly to your bank account.
Processing fees
- Free plan: 3% + 20p per card payment
- Pro plan: 2.5% + 20p per card payment
- Bank transfers: Always 0% fees
How to connect
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Click Connect with Stripe
- You'll be taken to Stripe's secure website
- Create a Stripe account or sign in to an existing one
- Enter your bank details for payouts
- Complete verification (usually instant)
What Stripe needs from you
- Your legal name
- Date of birth
- Address
- Bank account details (sort code and account number)
- A brief description of your services
How long does setup take?
Most people complete Stripe setup in 5-10 minutes. Verification is usually instant, but occasionally Stripe may need to verify additional details.
When will I receive payments?
Once connected, payments typically arrive in your bank account within 2-3 business days.
