Deleting your account

Understand what happens when you delete your account.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time. This is permanent.

Before deleting

Consider:

  • Export your data first
  • Cancel any active subscription
  • Inform clients of new payment arrangements

How to delete

  1. Go to SettingsAccount
  2. Scroll to "Delete Account"
  3. Click Delete My Account
  4. Enter your password to confirm
  5. Click Permanently Delete

What gets deleted

  • Your profile and settings
  • Client information
  • Payment records
  • Reminder history
  • All associated data

What happens to Stripe?

Your Stripe account is separate. Deleting RemindToPay:

  • Disconnects Stripe
  • Does NOT delete your Stripe account
  • Pending payouts will still complete

Delete Stripe separately if needed.


Can I recover my account?

No. Deletion is permanent. Make sure you've exported any data you need.


Taking a break instead?

If you might return, consider:

  • Downgrading to Free (it's £0)
  • Keeping the account inactive
  • Archiving clients
