Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time. This is permanent.
Before deleting
Consider:
- Export your data first
- Cancel any active subscription
- Inform clients of new payment arrangements
How to delete
- Go to Settings → Account
- Scroll to "Delete Account"
- Click Delete My Account
- Enter your password to confirm
- Click Permanently Delete
What gets deleted
- Your profile and settings
- Client information
- Payment records
- Reminder history
- All associated data
What happens to Stripe?
Your Stripe account is separate. Deleting RemindToPay:
- Disconnects Stripe
- Does NOT delete your Stripe account
- Pending payouts will still complete
Delete Stripe separately if needed.
Can I recover my account?
No. Deletion is permanent. Make sure you've exported any data you need.
Taking a break instead?
If you might return, consider:
- Downgrading to Free (it's £0)
- Keeping the account inactive
- Archiving clients
