How clients make payments

Paying by card

When a client wants to pay by card:

1. They visit their portal link
2. Click Pay Now or Pay by Card
3. Enter their card details
4. Click Pay
5. They see a confirmation

The payment is processed immediately. You'll be notified and their balance updates.

Paying by bank transfer

If you accept bank transfers:

1. Client visits their portal
2. They see your bank details:
   • Account name
   • Sort code
   • Account number
   • Reference to use
3. They make a transfer through their bank
4. You record the payment when it arrives

Which is easier for clients?

Card payments are faster—one click and done.

Bank transfers are familiar but require more steps.

Most clients prefer card payments when available.

After payment

Clients see:

• Confirmation on screen
• Receipt by email (if enabled)
• Updated balance in their portal
