What is a payout?
A payout is when Stripe sends collected payments to your bank account.
Payout schedule
By default, Stripe sends payouts:
- Daily for established accounts
- Weekly for new accounts
You can adjust this in your Stripe dashboard.
Payout timing
After a payment is made:
- Day 1: Payment received
- Days 2-3: Processing
- Day 3-4: Money arrives in bank
Bank holidays and weekends may add time.
Minimum payout
Stripe may wait until you've accumulated a minimum amount before sending a payout. Check your Stripe settings for details.
Failed payouts
If a payout fails (rare):
- Check your bank details in Stripe
- Ensure account is active
- Contact Stripe support if issues persist
Viewing payout history
See all payouts in:
- Your Stripe dashboard
- Bank statement
