How to redeem a promo code for free Pro access.
What is a promo code?
A promo code is a special code that grants you free Pro access for a limited time. These codes are typically offered through partnerships with other businesses or communities.
How to redeem a promo code
- Sign in to your RemindToPay account
- Go to the Redeem page or use the link provided by your partner
- Enter your promo code (case-insensitive)
- Click Activate Pro Access
Your Pro features will be activated immediately.
What you get with a promo code
When you redeem a promo code, you get full Pro access including:
- Unlimited clients (no 5-client limit)
- Automatic reminder sequences
- Lower payment processing fees (2.5% + 20p instead of 3% + 20p)
- Custom message templates
- Auto-receipts
- Full dashboard analytics
How long does promo access last?
Most promo codes grant 90 days (3 months) of Pro access. The exact duration depends on the specific promotion.
You can check your promo status anytime in Settings → Subscription.
What happens when my promo expires?
When your promo access expires:
- You'll receive an email reminder 7 days before expiry
- On the expiry date, your account moves to the Free plan
- Your data and clients are preserved
- You can upgrade to a paid Pro subscription anytime
Important: If you have more than 5 clients, you'll keep them but won't be able to add new ones until you upgrade or remove some clients.
Can I use multiple promo codes?
No, you can only have one active promo at a time. If you have an active promo and try to redeem another, you'll need to wait for the first one to expire.
My promo code isn't working
Check these common issues:
- Already redeemed: Each code can only be redeemed once per account
- Expired code: Some promo codes have an expiry date
- Limit reached: Some codes have a maximum number of redemptions
- Already Pro: If you have an active paid subscription, promo codes won't apply

Converting to a paid subscription
Love Pro? You can upgrade to a paid subscription anytime, even while using a promo:
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Click Upgrade to Pro
- Enter your payment details
Your paid subscription will start immediately, and you'll keep all your Pro features beyond the promo period.
