Stripe connection problems

Having trouble connecting or using Stripe? Here are common issues and fixes.

Can't complete setup

Check:

  • You're using correct personal details
  • Bank account details are accurate
  • You've completed all required fields

Try:

  • Clear browser cache and try again
  • Use a different browser
  • Complete on desktop instead of mobile

Connection keeps failing

  1. Sign out of RemindToPay
  2. Sign out of Stripe
  3. Clear browser data
  4. Start fresh

"Verification needed" message

Stripe may need:

  • Identity verification
  • Additional business information
  • Bank statement upload

Check your Stripe email for specific requests.


Already connected but not working?

Payments not processing

  • Check Stripe account status
  • Verify bank details are current
  • Look for alerts in Stripe dashboard

Disconnected unexpectedly

  • Reconnect through Settings → Payments
  • Sign back into Stripe
