How automatic reminders work

Let RemindToPay send reminders for you automatically.

Automatic reminders

With automatic reminders, you don't need to remember to chase payments. We'll send professional reminders on your behalf at the right times.

How it works

  • You add a client with an amount due
  • You set when payment is due
  • We send reminders before, on, and after the due date
  • When they pay, reminders stop automatically

When reminders are sent

Our smart sequence sends reminders at key moments:

  • A few days before the due date
  • On the due date
  • A few days after (if unpaid)
  • One week after (if still unpaid)
  • Final reminder two weeks after

  • Turning on automatic reminders

    • Go to Settings → Reminders
    • Toggle Automatic Reminders on
    • Choose your preferences

Note: Automatic reminder sequences are a Pro feature.

    Stopping reminders for a client

If you need to pause reminders for someone:

  • Mark them as paid
  • Or turn off reminders in their profile
