Disconnecting Stripe

Remove the connection between RemindToPay and Stripe.

Before disconnecting

Consider what happens:

  • You can't accept card payments
  • Existing payouts will complete
  • Client portals show bank transfer only

    • How to disconnect

    • Go to Settings → Payments
    • Click Disconnect Stripe
    • Confirm your choice

    The connection is removed immediately.

    What happens next?

    • Card payment option disappears from portals
    • Clients can still pay by bank transfer
    • Your Stripe account remains (separately)
    • You can reconnect anytime

    Pending payments

    If you have payments in progress:

  • They'll still be paid out
  • Check your Stripe dashboard for status

    • Reconnecting later

    You can reconnect the same Stripe account anytime:

  • Go to Settings → Payments
  • Click Connect with Stripe
  • Sign into your existing Stripe account
